Karin Janssen Project Space

Karin Janssen Project Space

Open Thurs-Sun: 12-6pm during exhibitions

An independent exhibition space, run and programmed by Dutch artist Karin Janssen, the gallery provides a platform for emerging and established artists from the UK and abroad, dedicating itself to experiment. It is situated in a renovated former hairdressers on Well Street in Hackney, East London. The space is evidently a part of the local community: nestled in between a family butcher and a pound shop, whilst at the same time maintaining an international presence. It is open free of charge to the public presenting a recurring programme of varied exhibitions. In between exhibitions the space is used as a studio by Karin and stays open to the public.
