Created according to the ancient Byzantine technique of making the mosaic on a bed of lime, and then 'rip' it to lay it on a bed of cement, this is the reproduction of a detail from the Mausoleo Galla Placidia, Ravenna, Italy

Statement

 

 

 Art's task is to save the soul of mankind, and anything less is a dithering while Rome burns.


Because if the artists, who are self selected for being able to journey into the Other– if the artists cannot find the way,  than the way cannot be found.
