Introduction

Anya Broido is a fine artist who graduated in 2011 with a BA in sculpture from Central St Martins, where her work explored the relationship between photography, sculpture and installation. Her photography centres upon the theme of darkness, seeking to create states of intimacy and isolation. Her influences include neo-realist cinema, film noir and the photographer Weegee. She lives and works in London.
