Introduction

I understand that art is a response to a site, context, environment.

My practice deals largely with conflict, because it is there and it is the role of the artist to point it out, to press on the sore places. I try to reflect the mood in a certain context, situation, environment and hope to provoke a reaction, open up a space for dialogue and a possibility for change to occur.

Or at least, I hope, to make people think.
