Sept 1945 Born in Yorkshire.
Jan - 1951 Moved by ship to Adelaide, South Australia (£10 pom!)
Aug -1960 Dropped out of school and started work in the Illustration Section of the Weapons Research Establishment, Salisbury, South Australia.
1962- South Australian School of Art, Adelaide - night classes in general drawing, fashion drawing, lettering and life drawing.
1964 - Joined Webb Roberts & McClelland Advertising Agency, Adelaide, SA (trainee coffee maker, water jar washer and Junior graphic artist.
1967 - Stomped out in a huff over a pay dispute, by now a visualizer, WR&M had become Foote Cone & Belding.
Joined an Advertising Art Studio - lasted 6 weeks, got the boot!
10 weeks unemployed, painted portraits of friends and commissions. started in the Art Department of Myer Emporium Department Store, Adelaide.
1968 - Appointed Art Director.
1969 - Awarded Advertising Woman of the Year. 1st Marriage! Moved to Sydney, New South Wales.
1970 - New job at Fortune Advertising, Sydney.
1972 - 1st marriage over - Went freelance, Illustrating fashion, advertising visuals and architects visuals for a range of clients.
1974 - Flew to London, Wizzard Art Studio, Soho. Storyboards for TV advertising.
Long distance divorce achieved.
Went freelance again working from my flat in Soho.
1979 - Bought 1st flat in Shepherds Bush.
Rented desk space in Square One Studios, Soho.
1985 - 2nd Marriage, Rented desk space in Plum Illustration, Soho. Sold 1st flat.
1986 - Bought 2nd flat in Shepherds Bush. 1995 - “Sabbatical” Dali course 'Life Drawing with Colour" at Central St Martins followed by Foundation Course at Citylit College.
1996 - Started 3 year Fine Art and Printmaking, Summer schools in ‘Drawing as Process’ and ‘Installation as Process’.
1998 - 2nd Marriage over. Got 1st Apple computer, too late! Back to freelance advertising.
2001 - 2nd divorce. Shared a Cable Street Studio with four friends from Citylit fine art.
2005 - Saved by the state pension and freedom pass from 'penury by Photoshop’.
2012 - Still pottering about in happy retirement, cooking, gardening and trying to recapture the bold youthful creativity that was sold to the Advertising Industry.
