Open Call For Emerging Artists/Creatives In Leicestershire: #NJITA

No Jobs in the Arts (NJITA) wants to shine a light on some of the amazing visual artists working in Leicestershire today. We are now taking entries for the fifth edition of the zine which will be produced in partnership with Modern Painters, New Decorators.

This special edition will seek to promote work by emerging artists working in, studying in, or linked to the Leicestershire region. The publication will be printed and circulated locally and shared online as an accessible digital edition.

How to submit:

Please send us:
- Up to five digital images of your visual art (including any artwork titles);
- A description of your practice (no more than 100 words);
- Basic contact information and any relevant links (e.g. Instagram/website details).

Eligibility criteria: This opportunity is open to early-career artists currently living, working or studying in Leicestershire. Unfortunately, we are unable to work with any artists without a link to Leicestershire, or any artist who is under 16.

Deadline: 11/01/2021 (Monday 11th January 2021)

Opportunity: There is no submission fee for this opportunity. Artwork will be selected by a team of emerging curators. The six artists featured in the zine will be paid a fee of £44.
