Criteria

Course Leader - FE Photography - to take responsibility for the BTEC Photography programmes and teach across both level 2 and level 3 courses at Colchester School of Art. The post holder will be required to give clear leadership to the curriculum and contribute to the development of the Photography provision at the Braintree site. The successful candidate will also be expected to work in close collaboration with other staff to ensure that appropriate skills, processes and learning experience are offered to Photography students. As this role involves course management, applicants should have previous experience of leadership within education, recent experience of developing resources and of curriculum development. Candidates with a degree, or equivalent in a photography related subject, and ideally a teaching qualification. Applicants will have professional experience within the photographic industry, previous teaching experience at FE level and will be confident with the use of cameras, analogue darkroom practice and digital image manipulation software.
