We are currently enrolling for our Summer School Foundation and Short Course programme. The Slade Summer School is an opportunity for a wide range of artists and students to work within the special atmosphere of a distinguished school of fine art. All courses are taught by artists and they are sensitive to the different levels of experience and the needs of those who enrol. The staff actively promote a strong sense of community and enterprise. The Summer School creates an excellent ambience within which students can test their abilities and experiment while learning new skills and different approaches to making art. Studio work is supported by a well-considered series of lectures and seminars that enables students to contextualise their progress and gain first-hand insight into the work of a wide range of artists and academics.
