Criteria

Salon des Refusés is a subversive experiment in short film curation with a simple philosophy: we only screen films that have been rejected by other festivals. Our aim is to highlight the subjectivity of the programming process by drawing attention to the many superb shorts we feel deserve to be showcased, but have been denied the opportunity to screen elsewhere. We are currently seeking submissions for our February Salon and would like to hear from you if your short has been rejected from at least one festival. We accept documentaries, animations, experimental films, music videos and fiction shorts from anywhere in the world - as long as they’re less than an hour long.

In order to submit, you just need to send us the following information: Title; Director; Country of Production; Duration; Festivals from which you’ve been rejected; Festivals to which you’ve been accepted.
