he Eagle Gallery was established by Emma Hill in 1991 to promote the work of contemporary British artists through a regular programme of exhibitions, installations and artists' publications.
As one of the original alternative spaces of the 90's the Eagle Gallery has shown the work of many of the foremost young British artists to have emerged over the last decade including Jane Bustin, Peter Doig, Mark Francis, Nicky Hirst, Callum Innes and Terry Smith, as well as more established artists such as Basil Beattie, Prunella Clough, Stephen Cox and Liliane Lijn.
