Cornwall Contemporary opened on 1st September 2006. The gallery is situated at the top of historic Chapel Street in Penzance and is a large, spacious gallery set out over three floors. The ground floor is used for changing exhibitions while the upper two floors are used for mixed work by gallery artists. Exhibitions change monthly and aim to represent the best of art in Cornwall and from as far afield as the West Coast of America. Well established and highly respected artists exhibit alongside some of the most promising up - and - coming art school graduates. Regular exhibiting artists include Neil Pinkett, Daphne McClure, Emma Dunbar, Nancy Pickard, Alasdair Lindsay, Maggie Matthews, Emma McClure, Antonio Lopez Reche, Simon Stooks, Shirley Foote, Simon Turner and Janet Lynch amongst others.
