Since 1977 when Michael and Sheila Casson moved to Wobage Farm, the 18th century sandstone farm buildings have been converted into craft studios for seven craftspeople to work individually, whilst sharing
the facilities.
There are currently five potters; Sheila Casson, Patia Davis, Jeremy Steward, Sheila Herring and Josh Redman. Woodworker; Ben Casson, and jeweller, Clair Hodgson.
Sheila’s daughter Clare and son in law Andrew McGarva supply pots, tiles and terra cotta sculpture from their workshop in France. Lucy Casson, who makes tin sculpture at her London studio, also exhibits in the gallery at Wobage.
