Somerset Crafts is an Arts and Crafts Centre, exclusively stocked with some of the county’s finest
creative work. A group of dedicated craftspeople exhibit their work. They are all locally based, and draw their inspiration from the landscape, wildlife and heritage of Somerset. They offer courses and do regular free demonstration days and events.
The group includes jewellers,
artists, wood turning, metalwork and stone sculpture. Also handmade
furniture, locally crafted soaps, silks and photography.
Close to the Cathedral City of Wells, and within sight of Glastonbury Tor, Somerset Crafts
is set in beautiful countryside at the internationally renowned Shapwick Heath Nature Reserve. It is a
perfect setting for a day enjoying both art and nature, in a relaxed and natural environment.
