JOHN SUMMERS (b. 1974, Colorado Springs, USA; lives and works in London) is a sculptor whose work navigates the uncertain territory between figuration and abstraction. His highly expressive sculptures hint at the intense relationship the artist has with his materials. Summers was the recipient of the Mark Tanner Sculpture Award 2006/7.
