Zabludowicz Collection Invites is a new initiative dedicated to presenting young, UK-based artists who are not currently represented by a UK gallery. Taking the form of eleven monthly solo presentations, the exhibitions will result from an open-ended invitation to exhibit or produce new work.
Benedict Drew works in video, performance, film, music and text. A central concern for his practice is the desire to explore our relationship with technology, authority and control. He is currently a LUX Associate Artist. Drew also is a member of Art collective The Work in Progress who recently worked with the Whitechapel Art Gallery on the ‘Reclaim the Mural’ project. Next spring, Benedict Drew will also present a solo project at Cell Project Space in London (9 April–27 May).
