Isendyouthis imposes no limits on the number of works that you can show or how you describe them, but extensive feedback from collectors and curators indicates that visitors prefer listing works in groups and sections. There are three types of groups:

• Portfolio is intended to represent you as an artist. Your latest works, how you want to be seen as an artist. We recommend a maximum of three sections (bodies of work) with about 12 images in each section.
• Archive previous bodies of work can be shown separately in the Archive group
• Studio sales lists all the works you currently have for sale online or from your studio. Someone who is interested in buying can see everything you have available without having to go through each item in your portfolio.

All artworks are saved in your personal catalogue even if you are not currently showing them on your site.

Video

Collectors and curators are interested in seeing how and where you work and a quality video can bring your profile to life. Isendyouthis allows you to include videos from Vimeo, YouTube or other video hosting sites on your homepage and profile pages.

Search engine friendly

Isendyouthis is designed to make your site search engine friendly by using the recognised optimisation techniques, adding the right keywords and tags.

Used by successful artists

There are many artists selling well from their websites (or studio visits that originated from the websites) and several that have been 'discovered'. Whilst it is unlikely that a website alone would be the reason for success it is true that a poor website can significantly reduce your chances of being discovered.

Personal domain name

A good domain name (URL) makes it easier for people to find your site and remember it.

You will get more visitors and make more sales. That's why your subscription includes your personal domain name.

Without a doubt the best domain name is your own name! Isendyouthis automatically optimises your site for your own name.

If you already have your own domain name, that's no problem; we can attach your website to your existing name. Once you have subscribed you can log in and follow the instructions.

Simple monthly payment

A subscription costs £9.95 per month inclusive of VAT.

There is no minimum period of commitment - you can login and cancel at any time.

There are no extras. The price includes hosting your website / portfolio and your own domain name.

We do not take commission on sales, but when you make an online sale or use the card payment system then a charge of 8% is made to cover card, merchant and administration charges. This is deducted from the money you receive and a VAT invoice is attached to the sales slip.

No minimum contract

You don't need to make a big commitment - you can cancel your subscription at anytime without penalty. If you are thinking of reviving your site at a later date just let us know and we can arrange to preserve your domain name.

Part of the ranking that you achieve with Google and the other search engines is based on how long your site has been around. It's a pity to lose hard earned points if you are thinking of returning - again we can discuss ways to preserve your ranking.

We are always willing to help if we can. We have had a great deal of feedback from curators and collectors about websites that work and those that don't. We build as much of this feedback as we can into the structure of your website but we also have details of the best ways of setting out content.

Secure online card sales

Isendyouthis allows you sell your work online taking payments by credit or debit card. isendyouthis has its own secure payments system that is integrated into SagePay, one of the world's largest credit card processors, to ensure the money is safe. It costs you nothing to have this facility - but we charge a small percentage for each transaction to cover the card, banking and merchant costs and fees.

Art opportunities newsletter, daily updates

Showing your work, winning an award or getting a residency are great ways to get exposure for you and your work. Isendyouthis lists dozens of new opportunities online every week and highlights those with short deadlines. As a user you will also receive our fortnightly newsletter, the inside track.

Diary blast to 170,000 people weekly

Our resident curator/editor selects the most interesting exhibitions each week to review and sends the diary blast to over 170,000 people.

Visitor referrals from isendyouthis

isendyouthis is designed to send visitors to your site. In fact on average each isendyouthis visitor visits three artist sites each month.

The referrals come from:

• Listing you and showing a portfolio of up to twelve of your works in artportfolio with links to your website.
• Listing your exhibitions in Art Diary with links to your site.
• Showcasing the work from your portfolio in artshowcase with links to your site and Twitter / Facebook / Google+.
• Your site will appear on the artgallery listing of your representing galleries.
• Referrals from any boutique online gallery that is part of the project.
• Featuring artists as the monthly featured artist chosen by our resident and guest curators - again links to your site.
• Featuring exhibitions that will be included in the weekly diary blast to 170,000 people.

Facebook, Tweeting

Tweeting about your website, works and exhibitions and showing them on your Facebook page can be the fastest way of spreading the word. Isendyouthis gives you the facilities not only to promote your Facebook page but to allow others to like it and tweet about your works and shows.

Studio / telephone card sales

We have to confess that, although 80% of sales are researched online, most sales over a few hundred pounds are not. Your website is invaluable to attracting collectors and to your studio or gallery. To help clinch the deal we have extended the online sales facility to include personal and telephone based sales. You can simply take credit or debit cards like any other shop and we will handle the transaction for you.

24 hour support desk

If you have a question or problem we are always available. If 'help' and frequently asked questions don't have the answer then the most efficient way is to use the "ask a question" button. This will direct the enquiry to our help desk and the best person to resolve it. Usually you will get a substantive reply within a few hours. We hate it if things go wrong so are motivated to resolve matters as quickly as we can.

Personal mailing list

Your website comes with a mailing list which automatically adds people to your contact list. Isendyouthis gives you the facilities to send out email 'blasts' to everyone or a selection from your list.

Catalogue and sales records

Isendyouthis provides facilities to catalogue all your works and add private notes such as the techniques you used and where the works are located even if the work is not being shown on your website. You can maintain a sales record as part of the catalogue. Keeping accurate records is important for legal and tax purposes but also to help prove your rights under the Artists Resale Rights legislation, which provide for payments to artists if their work is resold by the purchaser (subject to conditions).
