Introduction

Statement

I first developed an interest in graffiti in 1980. By 1987 I was painting using aerosol paint as my preferred medium. I have painted countless amounts of walls, trains and paid my dues and had brushes with the law in the process.

I stopped graffiti in the late 90's only to return to my aerosol addiction in 2005. This time I had reached a more mature age and I began to paint legal sites which were mainly walls and commissions.

After a lot of anger and frustration of having whole wall paintings destroyed by unappreciative others, I decided to experiment painting canvas and other materials with the intention of my work lasting.

After a lot of experimenting I feel I have found myself, using graffiti and aerosols as a way of expressing my feelings through colour, strong images but also at the same time keeping an edgy feel to my work.
