Introduction

Statement

I work in different white stoneware clays. Some of my work is handbuilt; some is thrown and then altered.

I also make sculptural forms which are smoke fired.  My inspiration for this work comes from the natural world, particularly shells and stones and coastal landscapes.

In addition to ceramics I make fused glass pieces and dichroic glass jewellery.

Biography

1970s-2011After spending many years at pottery evening classes I took a course in Fine and Applied Art at the City of London Polytechnic, specialising in Ceramics. I then set up a studio at home from where I continue to work.
