Introduction

Statement

I am a painter , i use mostly acrylic and oils, sometimes house paint .my work  varies from abstract to figurative.Like most artists i dont like to be pigeonholed.

Most of my work is in private collections.I tend to gather objects that have been rejected and i use them as props.This inspires me to create little stars out of the rejected.I realy like creating an object that uses the minimum of materials and paint.This disciplines my way of thinking and edits any kind of wild spontaneous action.I like to reduce the need for any kind of irrational output without a focused end piece.Sometimes it is hard to find motivation to paint or create,i usually stop for a while and wait for that need ,i think i am like an addict , i go at it hell for leather and then go on the wagon,but it gets you in the end and gives an enormous amount of pleasure.Its good to look at the end product and feel satisfied ,not in a smug way but like a builder who has built a house ,a labour of love.
