I am Italian, but have been living in England since 1999. I graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2007. I have been sketching and drawing all my life and painting steadily since 2007. I have had illustrations featured on ‘Garageland’ Art Magazine, I participated to a few Showcase London shows and have had a few independent shows in Naples, where I come from. In my spare time I am a guest blogger at neversaycool.com, where I write regularly about creative stuff. My creative process involves different stages. By using painting’s history and architecture as a tool, I attempt to create a framework in which to push painting forward. My work explores the contemporary worlds we inhabit. Urban environments, themes of absence and dreamlike sequences are but a few of my subjects. My influences are more than I care to mention, above all, directors David Lynch and David Fincher and painters Peter Doig, Adrian Ghenie, Francis Bacon and Daniel Richter.
