Bob works in site specific environments. Often creating large installations that have both narrative and meaning that show a sensitivity to the place or the time or event forwhich the which the installation is created.
There is a combination of poetic imagery and text which often draw from the relationship between love and loss.
Here there is a paradox. By watching a drama unfold we gain a certain pleasure with the identification to the object of misfortune. As observers we witness the suffering and cultivate emotional responses of both repulsion and compassion
