Daphne Boothby

Statement

My paintings are made from on site drawings, usually of the urban landscape. They are abstracted into a graphic representation of the original.

In my sculpture I like to work from organic forms and translate these into highly finished wood carvings. My portrait sculptures are modelled in clay and cast in bronze.
