Statement

I make sculptures ranging from brooches to large abstact pieces, and have recently started using mosaic.

I am passionate about the natural world, and sad that many human beings lack compassion about our fellow inhabitants on this planet of finite resources.

I aim to capture the essential character and humour inherent in an individual within a species. I am about to embark on a collection of endangered animals and birds.

I am interested in recycling materials.

I have recently moved from my boat in London to live in the middle of the very lively and creative town of Frome in Somerset.

I was born in Melbourne and lived in London since arriving in the UK until my recent move to Somerset in December 2017.  I am now in Frome, an exceptionally creative town!

My work is sculptural and inspired by the natural world. Until recently my main materials were wire, plaster, papier mache and recycled materials. Recently I've started using mosaic as well - broken crockery and porcelain and glass tesserae.
