You can choose whether or not your works are for sale.
Use of cheques is declining ... Credit and Debit cards are now the preferred method of payment for art.
Once you subscribe, any work that you have for sale can be purchased by card.
Use it in the studio as a sophisiticated "till" as well as giving your on-line customers a secure payment service.
You will be notified of any sale by email and we will forward the sale proceeds to you as soon as you confirm that you have dispatched the work to the buyer.
Postage and packing charges for deliveries within the UK can be added in your catalogue entry for each work. Overseas deliveries should be by agreement with the buyer.
We charge no commission on sales but there is a Card Administration Fee of 10% to cover the credit card, bank and admin charges.
own domain name
Your website has a unique domain name (e.g. www.joespaintings.com) which takes you straight to your site.
It is completely independent and can be accessed either directly or through www.isendyouthis.com
The subscription price includes web site hosting, software maintenance and domain name registration and rental.
self maintained
Members are able to organise and update their website as often as they wish by
adding, deleting or editing:-
- images and description of works from your catalogue
- biography, statement and exhibition details
catalogue
The catalogue is a database of all your work. It is an on-line filing system containing images and details.
You can record dimensions, media, price, location as well as your thoughts about the work, both private and on your website.
Any item that you want to show on your website must have a catalogue entry.
Up to 100 works from your catalogue can be arranged in sections and posted on your website at any one time but you do not need to show work that you don't want to.
mailing list
Keep details of all your followers and mail out invitations to private viewings etc.
These are private records and will not be seen by other artists.
customer records
Keep details of all your customers.
Any sale made through isendyouthis, whether on line or in the studio will
automatically record the sales details for future reference
register interest
Anyone expressing an interest in your work can register on your mailing list
and their details will automatically be recorded in your contact database.
the artZone
Your work may be eligable for inclusion on the artZone or other sites.
isendyouthis.com and the artZone are promoted on line and in art publications including
Art Review, Modern Painter, a-n magazine, Proof Magazine, Goole Adwords and Guardian unlimited.
exhibitions
Solo exhibitions can be promoted in the exhibition guide alongside those arranged by Galleries.
gallery introductions
Being on the artZone is a great opportunity for both the public and galleries to become familiar with your work.
We are able, in some cases, to introduce galleries to artists.
